  Imagine Otherwise. November 24 - December 23, 2006

Oswaldo De Leon Kantule is an Indigenous artist from Panama.  While the symbolism and iconography that he uses is specific to his Kuna People, some themes and concepts are similar to those that appear in Canadian Native art.

Nahum Flores' mixed media work is a fusion of drawing and matter intuitively processed on canvas and wood panels. Although infused with humour, his work reflects his concern for the human condition and the devastation of natural environments.

Marcelo Suaznabar presents the "temptations and passions of the soul" in dreams. His figures often appear suspended in a direct and simple manner inviting interpretations of surreal and magical situations.
