The Works of Hawa Kaba
Hawa Kaba has been showing at the Spence Gallery since 2005. This will be her first solo exhibit in Toronto. Hawa has had many successful exhibits in Ottawa where her work has been bought by the City of Ottawa, the Department of Foreign Affairs and corporations now she brings new works to Toronto.
"Hawa's mixed-media work weaves fabrics, papers and other materials into a patchwork of contemporary pieces that are obviously inspired by her West African roots."
