
Spence Gallery is participating in the “Routes to Freedom" art exhibit, part of the Reflections on the Bicentenary of the Abolition of the Slave Trade Conference. The exhibit is being held at the CUBE Gallery 7 Hamilton Ave N. in Ottawa. A closing reception will be held on Sunday, March 16th at 1 p.m.
This is a group show featuring eight contemporary Canadian artists from the African Diaspora: Rosslyn Berot-Burns, Martine Chartrand, Opal Dunbar-Adams, Bushra Junaid, Hawa Kaba, Izzeldinn Kojour, Annie Lalande, and Shaun Motsi.
